Loquil isn't a program you have to open: it's a bar that sits there and types into the field your cursor is in. It works in installed programs and on websites.
No plugins to install in each one, no browser extensions.

Not just what you dictate: what's already written too
You select a text — an email you received, a paragraph written in a hurry yesterday, a colleague's message — and Rewrite appears on the bar with as many words as you picked. Style and language are chosen from the menu, not dictated: you don't speak at all. One click and the text goes back where it was.

What you say stays on your computer
The dictation log — what you said and what came out — lives in a file on your PC. We never upload it anywhere, we don't read it, there's no copy on our servers. Only the numbers your plan needs stay with us: how many words, how many seconds of audio. Never the text.
You empty it, whenever you want
One button in the log, with a confirmation: "Empty the log". From that moment it no longer exists, not even for us.
Audio is never kept
It records only while you hold the keys, it's used to write that one sentence and that's it. We don't save it, we don't play it back.
Your own keys, if you want
If your company has constraints, you can use your own API keys. One account for PC and phone only, invoiced with VAT.
Questions we hear all the time
Do I have to train it?
No. Install it, pick your language, start dictating. If you have words of your own — client names, acronyms — you add them to the Dictionary.
Does it work without internet?
No: transcription runs on our servers. If the connection drops, Loquil tells you and picks up when it's back.
Do I need a good microphone?
The one in your laptop is fine. With a headset it hears you better and gets fewer things wrong.
How much does it cost?
Free, 1,000 words a week. 6 €/month for 50,000 words a month, 10 € for 150,000.
