How to dictate in one language and have the text written in another

With an AI dictation app you can set two languages: the one you speak and the one the text must be written in. You dictate in Italian (or German, Spanish, Hindi…), and the app transcribes, translates and cleans up in one pass, pasting the finished English text where your cursor is. No copy-paste through a translator.

How it works

The audio is transcribed in the language you speak; the AI cleanup step then rewrites it in the output language you chose, keeping the meaning and the register (an informal message stays informal, a formal one stays formal). Because it is the same step that removes fillers and fixes punctuation, the result is a natural text, not a word-by-word translation.

In Loquil the two settings are called Dictation language and Write in. Both can be changed from the bar in a click; on Android from the bubble.
